Client: The New Zealand Motor Caravan Association

Title: Annual Travel Directory

Brief: For many years, the NZMCA had produced an A5 black and white travel directory containing member-exclusive information such as Dump Station locations, Park Over Properties, Low Cost Parking areas and other datasets. However, this valuable booklet did not include maps, so in many cases, users would have to refer to a separate Road Map for directions.
Spot On’s brief was to create a world class Road Atlas that comprised all of the above into a single, easy-to-use publication.

Results: The Travel Directory is now an A4 full colour publication and includes over 60 maps. All points of interest were validated and overlaid on to the maps with easy to read symbols and a user-friendly index. In addition, more than 2,000 GPS co-ordinates were collected and also included in the directory. Member feedback confirms the new Travel Directory has been an overwhelming success.
