"I don't know whether my newsletter should be PRINTED or DIGITAL?"

This depends on two things: customer preference (ask them how they’d like to be communicated with); and context (what type of information is being communicated, from what sort of business, and who it’s aimed at).

The technology revolution initially cast some doubt over the future of printed publications. Now we know that electronic and paper-based publications have different purposes and satisfy different audiences.

Printed publications are seen as providing analysis and context, a tangible platform where companies can build their brand, whereas electronic format is to break news and spark instant interaction. Going forward, we see both working in tandem.
